Dolphins cut Jorvorskie Lane

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Miami Dolphins dropped former Lufkin Panther Jorvorskie Lane in a move announced by the team Tuesday.

According to the Associated Press, team officials plan on going with more three-receiver sets this season, eliminating the need for a fullback.

Lane played in all 16 games in 2012, scoring three touchdowns, rushing for 13 yards and receiving for 79 yards.

Another East Texan, Ja'Gared Davis, a rookie linebacker from Crockett, was cut from the Houston Texans Tuesday.
