'A normal person would have gotten medical care for the child'

The trial of a woman accused of neglect in the injury of a baby who fell off a changing table continues today with the defense taking over the trial. Caleb Beames has been in the courtroom from the beginning and will bring you the latest from today's proceedings at 6.

At this hour, Nacogdoches County youth are weighing in steers for the upcoming county fair to be held in October. Some of the contestants are 4H members, an organization that has had its ups and downs over the last couple of years. At 6, Donna McCollum says new leadership is organizing a membership roundup to place the program back on the trail to success.

Michelle Reed was a little curious as to how the Lufkin ISD bus system worked and got the chance to ride along with camera in hand. She'll show you what she learned tonight at 6.

And in this week's edition of BFF, you'll meet Pepper, the Aussie shepherd mix.

We hope you'll watch!
