TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo police need help finding a man who they say victimizes children.

Police say Evan Shaw, 27, is wanted for gross sexual imposition/illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. Shaw allegedly victimized a 12-year-old girl, along with multiple other pre-teen girls.

Police were able to identify Shaw as a suspect after someone found a memory card from a cell phone at the intersection of Lagrange and Huron.

“As soon as they started to get into the images on there, they realized quickly that this was something that was really bad,” said TPD Sgt. Joe Heffernan. “They immediately called us, turned it over to us.”

The card and photos were traced back to Shaw.

“I got a granddaughter that’s three, and a grandson that’s six, and a grandson that’s one,” said Doug Osborne, who lives near the intersection where the card was found. “There’s no reason for nothing like that.”

Police say Shaw has been in jail previously for weapons violations, and they allege he may have used a gun to coerce the victim.

“This is someone who preys on children, and we need to get him off the street as soon as possible,” Heffernan said.

Shaw is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with more information about Shaw's whereabouts should call CrimeStopper at 419-255-1111.

More than a few tar-covered tires are hanging on to the parking lot of a Lufkin tire shop.  On August 31, newly laid asphalt on Loop 287 started sticking to tires of those driving, leaving many of the cars un-driveable. As of Friday, the Texas Department of Transportation hadn't come out with an official cause for the incident, but that hasn't stopped over 600 people from filing claims with them.
