Max flashes his white smile in hopes of finding a family

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Meet Max. He's an 8-year-old Poodle mix and he's looking for a good home.

The Winnie Berry Humane Society transferred max from Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter.

Humane society staffer, Janine Maxfield says, "He's a love bug. He could sit in your lap all day and just love to. And he likes to sit pretty."

Max is 8-years-old so he's a little bit older and he would probably prefer to be the only dog in the house

"He's older so he's probably a little more set in his ways, so probably someone who's going to let him be the boss then he's going to do great," said Maxfield.

Max is up-to-date on all his shots and is healthy.

"We have not had him around the cats yet and he's been around some children but not enough that we will know yet how good he is with them," said Maxfield.

He is super sweet, relaxed and friendly. Max loves to show off his pretty white teeth and smile.

"He's just a sweet boy. He's older but he's a sweetie," said Maxfield.

For more information on how to adopt our furry friend Max, please call the Winnie Berry Humane Society at 936-639-1880.
