NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

An investigation which Nacogdoches County Sheriff Jason Bridges says has been going for several months has led to the arrest of a Nacogdoches man and seizure of 132 grams of crack cocaine.

Dexter White, 41, is charged with first-degree delivery of a controlled substance.

Bridges said in a press release Friday that White has been distributing cocaine and other drugs in Nacogdoches County and that deputies had conducted undercover purchases from several different suspects. Through that investigation, deputies were able to identify White as the source, Bridges said.

Bridges said deputies used probable cause to search White's home on Sullivan Street and learned he had recently purchased a large amount of cocaine.

During the search, deputies found 132 grams of crack cocaine, still in cookie form, Bridges said. Bridges said they also found a loaded handgun in the home.

Bridges said an investigation into the drug distribution in the county over the past three months has led to the seizure of 2.75 pounds of crack cocaine, 125 grams of meth and several pounds of marijuana and codeine.
