LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Former Lufkin Panther Dez Bryant has been named in a special Sports Illustrated report which claims tutors did the majority of his schoolwork while he attended Oklahoma State University.
Wednesday's report was on academic misconduct at the university, which the writers, George Dohrmann and Thayer Evans, wrote as part of a five-part series on several allegations against Oklahoma State.
The article states that Cowboys safety Victor Johnson said Bryant would not go to class unless he was "shepherded" and tutors did a majority of his work.
Bryant was named second-team academic All-Big 12 in 2008.
The article states Bryant denied the allegation.
