DPS releases name of woman killed in 103 East wreck

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

DPS has released the names of a Lufkin woman killed and a Lufkin woman injured in a two-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon.

Carolyn Burns, 57, died at 3:34 p.m. at a Tyler hospital. Melissa Carol Oder, 40, is listed in stable condition at a Lufkin hospital with lacerations to her head and a broken leg.

Burns was driving a Dodge car eastbound on State Highway 103 East Sunday afternoon when she slammed into the back of a GMC Yukon, which had stopped to turn into a private drive.

Oder was a passenger in the Dodge.
