Etoile duo arrested for allegedly having meth and a stolen Harley at their home

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man and a woman after they residence in the Etoile area as part of an investigation into recent thefts and burglaries in that area and found methamphetamine and a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle Thursday.

Billy Rex Doss, 43, and Donna Darlene Doss, 44, both of Etoile, are still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on third-degree felony charges of possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams and theft between $1,500 and $20,000. Collectively, each suspect's bail was set at $15,000.

The deputies went to a residence on Lakeside Drive in Etoile at approximately 12:15 p.m. Thursday to interview Billy and Donna Doss. They made contact with Donna Doss and she gave them peromission to search the house. The NCSO deputies found Billy Doss hiding in a shower in the bathroom.

When the deputies searched the residence, they allegedly found approximately 2.7 grams of meth, and the stolen motorcycle was found in the shop/garage area. The Harley Davidson was reported stolen out of Liberty County, according to the arrest affidavit.

Billy Doss and Donna Doss were taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
