TYLER, TX (KTRE) - A Dallas man who was injured in a wreck involving an antique Model T Ford on Oct. 3 has been released from the Tyler hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
As of Oct. 4, Theodore Dumas, 75, had been listed in serious condition. His daughter, Dorinda Dumas, 50, of Dallas, was also injured in the wreck. However, she was released from a Lufkin hospital later in the evening of Oct. 3.
The Dumases were in East Texas with their antique car as part of the annual Texas T-Party Convention.
An eyewitness to the accident, Heidi Wood, said a Chevy Silverado, driven by Roel Villareal, 51, of Beaumont, rear-ended the car, ejecting Theodore Dumas. Theodore Dumas' wife, Janice Dumas, was not injured in the accident.
