Southern Cross music festival tickets benefiting Humane Society on sale now

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Tickets for the newest Winnie Berry Humane Society fundraiser, Southern Cross, are now on sale.

It's the first music fusion festival of its kind in the area and Humane Society Director, Paula Divello says it's going to be a blast.

Popular tribute bands like "Guns 4 Roses" and "Almost McGraw" will be performing and tons of local, home-grown musicians as well. And every penny raised will benefit Winnie Berry.

"You know we kind of wanted to reach out to a larger group of people. Not everybody can volunteer and not everybody is ready to adopt a pet but they want to help but they might not have the time they might not have the money. Everybody has, most people have anyway a weekend entertainment funds so for $15 you can come out see a lot of different bands have a blast and help the humane society," said Divello.

Southern Cross runs Friday, November 8th through Sunday11/10.
Tickets are $15 per day in advance, $20 on the day.
