LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police officers arrested a 19-year-old man for sexual assault of a child Wednesday after he allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old girl at a local hotel on June 28 with three minor girls and at least one adult in the room with them at the same time.

In all, seven people were staying in the room. The alleged sexual assault occurred at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel on South First Street.

Jekson Jobiay Turcios, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a second-degree felony charge of sexual assault of a child and three misdemeanor no driver's license charges. Collectively, his bail has been set at $51,081.

In the state of Texas, a child under the age of 17 cannot legally consent to have sex.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim, the three girls, and the two adults were taken to Harold's House in Lufkin for forensic interviews. The girl admitted to having sex with Turcios, according to the arrest affidavit, and the three minors and the adult also said they saw Turcios and the victim engage in sexual acts.
