Nacogdoches man in coma-like state since 2010 wreck dies

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Nacogdoches man who suffered a serious head injury in a 2010 vehicle wreck has died.

Ryan Davis, 24, died Monday.

An exact cause of death is not immediately known, but Davis has been in a coma-like state since the wreck in Galveston.

Davis was a Texas A&M at Galveston student at the time of the accident.

He was the son of SFA professor Dr. Carolyn Davis and Douglass High School teacher Skeeter Davis.

His mother posted updates on his condition at carepages.com, which had more than 1,900 followers.
