Stolen truck driver causes crash, power outage in Phoenix

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police have a suspect in custody after officers say the crook stole a pickup truck and caused a crash.

Phoenix police said the suspect stole a gray pickup truck and then hit an SUV at 12th Street and Northern Avenue about 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The white SUV was pushed into a power box and caused traffic lights to go out in the area.

The suspect fled to 15th Street and Northern Avenue but was soon caught by police canines.

The suspect's identity is not being released at this time.
