MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Five people are in custody after authorities raided a suspected immigrant drop house.

Two people were being held against their will in the home near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road when cops served a search warrant early Friday morning.

The Mesa Police Department said the kidnapping case originated in Mesa and ended at 6922 W. Highland Avenue in Phoenix.

The suspects agreed to take illegal immigrants into the country for a fee, but once in Arizona, the suspects held the victims and demanded more money.

The victims' relatives called police and detective were able to locate the house where they were being held.

Six pounds of heroin, 1 pound of cocaine and two guns were also found in the home.

Jose Hernandez-Padres was arrested on two counts of kidnapping, theft by extortion, human smuggling and prohibited possession of a firearm.

Mariantonieta Cantua Alvarado is facing two counts of kidnapping, theft by extortion, human smuggling, possession of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of a firearm.

Jesus German-Zapien was arrested on one count of human smuggling.

David Sapien was taken into custody on two counts of kidnapping, theft by extortion and human smuggling.

Mario Florez-Sapien was arrested for drug possession.
