Freedom Fighters: Gerald Hollis

Gerald Hollis went into the Army in 1942 and in '45was sent to New Guinea and then on to a series of small islands in thePhilippines. 

He says his job was mostly "fixing up and cleaningup."  "Fixing up" meant repairing airfields and "cleaning up" meantrounding up Japanese prisoners.
