5 applicants mulled for Yavapai Co. Superior Court vacancy

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Applications are being accepted for a judicial vacancy on the Yavapai County Superior Court.

Gov. Jan Brewer announced Tuesday the state has begun seeking public input on five candidates.

They are Joseph Goldstein, A. Douglas LaSota, Elizabeth McFarland, Jeffrey McNeice and Patricia Trebesch.

The vacancy was created by the appointment of Judge Kenton D. Jones to the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One.

Written comments about the applicants should be sent via email to the attention of Emily Jurmu at ejurmu@az.gov

Comments must be received by Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. to be considered. Anonymous comments will not be considered.
