Nacogdoches PD detectives arrest suspect in Domino's robbery

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Detectives with the Nacogdoches Police Department have identified the 33-year-old man who allegedly robbed the town's Domino's Pizza Monday night. Sugar Ray Ratcliff, of Nacogdoches, was arrested on a warrant for an unrelated crime Tuesday.

Ratcliff is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a third-degree felony charge of organized retail theft. His bail has been set at $10,000.

According to a press release, the arrest warrant stemmed from a theft that occurred at the TSO in the 4700 block of NE Stallings Drive on November 5.

An arraignment is pending on the aggravated robbery charge that will be in connection to the alleged armed robbery.Nacogdoches Police officers served the robbery warrant on him at the jail.

Ratcliff is the suspect in the armed robbery of the Domino's Pizza on North Street Monday night. According to the police report, a black man went into the business, brandished a handgun, and demanded money.

After the suspect took the contents of the cash drawer, he fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash from the business, the police report stated.
