A furry kind of Romeo

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

His suave personality owned this Rat Terrier -Chihuahua mix the name Romeo.

"He's kind of got the pointed ears like a Chihuahua with very long legs. We think he's about a year old and in really good good shape. Very healthy looking. Nice coat," said Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter, Director Aaron Ramsey.

Romeo was found as a stray somewhere in the City of Lufkin so he's been homeless for pretty much all of his life and he really is just hoping somebody will look at his cute face and take him home and love him forever.

The well-mannered pooch soaks up attention. He is the perfect inside dog for any family.

"I would describe him as a lap dog. He loves to just kind of hangout in you lap but he's very playful and like to get down and run around and play on the ground but just a good dog that some body's looking for a neat dog, a small dog, a good apartment dog that will just hang out and maybe watch some tv and get some attention," said Ramsey.
