Woman treated for injuries after car rolls over her at gas station

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Police responded to an accident at a Valero gas station in Tyler Friday afternoon.

According to the Tyler Police Department, 55-year-old Peggy Rozell of Tyler stopped at the station, located at 4801 Troup Highway, around 4:25 p.m. She thought she had put her vehicle in park before getting out, but as she exited the vehicle it began to roll.

Rozell was hit by the vehicle and thrown to the ground, resulting in injuries to her neck and face. The vehicle also rolled over her arm, causing additional injuries.

She was taken to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler with non-life threatening injuries.
