Freedom Fighters: Felix Clack

Posted: Updated:
MINEOLA, TX (KLTV) -
Although Felix Clack never fought with a rifle in World War II, his work setting up communication centers throughout the South Pacific to code and decode messages, helped American forces coordinate their efforts toward victory.

Danger to Clack and the 40 men under him, came primarily from Japanese air raids.

At the age of 94, Felix Clack still hunts, fishes and generally enjoys life.  He lives with his daughter and son-in law in Mineola, Texas.
