Investigators looking for information in Vanessa Hamdan homicide investigation

Posted: Updated:
ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Angelina sheriff's investigators are asking the public to keep sending tips to their office about the Vanessa Hamdan homicide investigation.

Detectives believe these tips will be key in uncovering what happened to Hamdan when she was found dead on the side of Royce Oliver Road on October 6th in Angelina County.

Lieutenant Pete Maskunas says, "More than likely the last place she was seen alive was early Sunday morning the 6th or Saturday the 5th in the area of Sayers Street in Lufkin and what we're asking is anybody that lives in that area anybody that frequents that area that may have seen Vanessa Hamdan or may have talked to Vanessa Hamdan or know who she may have taken a ride from to please give us a call."

Maskunas says anything, even something that might seem insignificant, could be the key to cracking the case.

To report information call the Angelina County Sheriff's Office at: 936-634-3331 or report via the ASCO mobile app.

You can also call crime stoppers at: 936-639-TIPS
