LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Harold's House in Lufkin is saying goodbye to their current director and welcoming Deanna Wallace to the team.
Wallace has served as a board member and volunteer at Harold's House for more than two years as well as worked with numerous other non-profits in the Lufkin area.
She has spent the 16 years as a contract corporate pilot.
Wallace says Harold's House is close to her heart and is glad to cut back time flying for this important organization.
"Harold's House we just reached our 10 year anniversary and we're going strong we're opening a satellite office in Nacogdoches to better serve the children there as well and you know our mission is so important and to keep it healthy and strong and keep it going," said Wallace.
Tuesday was former executive director, Laura Squiers last day. Wallace has already been working at Harold's House for about 5 weeks. She officially takes over as director on December 1, 2013.
