Man found dead in burning Texarkana home identified

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -

A man found dead inside a burning Texarkana, Texas home early Sunday morning has been identified. 

Firefighters found 36-year-old Scott Finley inside the home in the 200 block of Jerome St. as they fought the flames shortly after 3:00 a.m.

"One other occupant of the house told them up arrival that they think someone else may be in the house and it just took awhile to get through the fire and get it out to where they could do a good, thorough search of it," said Chris Black, Texarkana, Texas Fire Department.

They found Finley in the back of the burning home.  His body has been sent for an autopsy. Foul play is not suspected.
