Lufkin Crime Stoppers: 2 suspects used stolen gift cards at Academy

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Investigators with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's help in locating two men who allegedly used stolen gift cards at Lufkin's Academy Sports and Outdoors on Nov. 1.

At the request of Lt. Pete Maskunas of the Angelina County Sheriff's Office, Crime Stoppers of Lufkin is airing a surveillance video from the store.

One suspect appears to be a heavy-set, black man wearing khaki pants and a gray sweatshirt with text or a logo on its front.  The other suspect is a thin, black man wearing a green striped shirt, a dark-colored jacket, shorts, and tennis shoes.

No further information was available on this case, or what the suspects used the cards to purchase.
