LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Law enforcement officials have arrested a Lufkin man accused of fleeing from authorities who were trying to arrest him on several outstanding felony theft warrants in Angelina County.

Sheriff Greg Sanches said Michael Delane Boddie, 38, was arrested in Cherokee County, off of US 69 south of Wells.

Authorities in Angelina and Trinity counties had been looking for Boddie since Tuesday, after he allegedly fled TCSO deputies when they tried to arrest him in the Friday community.

According to a previous East Texas News story, Boddie and two other suspects were arrested in a meth lab bust on FM 2497 in December 2011. Angelina County Sheriff's deputies recovered a meth lab, about 30 grams of liquid meth, guns, and stolen property, including a motorcycle and power tools.

In the previous story, ACSO Sgt. Allen Hill said that Boddie has ties to the Aryan Brotherhood.
