GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A 40-year-old man found bleeding on the sidewalk next to a bus stop in Glendale on Thursday morning has died.

Malcolm Crittendon, 40, of Phoenix, was found in a culvert next to the bus stop by a man waiting about 6:25 a.m., said Officer Tracey Breeden with the Glendale Police Department.

Crittendon was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Breeden said there were no witnesses and no weapon was found near the scene at N. 59th Avenue and Colter. She said that detectives have no suspects or leads.

Anyone that has information about the shooting or who might have seen any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area where Crittendon was found is asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3399 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377).
