LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Meet Oliver. He's a 4-year-old Bichon mix. He's a sweet boy that hasn't had the best luck finding a forever family.
Oliver was actually adopted from Winnie Berry Humane Society a while back but about a month ago he was picked up by animal control and his hair was all matted, he was dirty and he was alone.
"Animal control picked him up and they called us and told us that they had him and his hair was so matted and nasty and so terrible and he has bad flea allergies and so he was missing hair in some spots and he was like in bad condition," said Winnie Berry staff member, Whitney White. "The people just let him go they didn't care."
Oliver is potty trained. He's excited to meet new people but calms down and melts in your arms when you hug him tight.
"He's really sweet and loving and very hyper," said White.
He looks a little like a Poodle right now with his shaved coat but it's growing back nicely.
He's good with kids and needs to be the only dog in the family.
