PHOENIX (AP) -

A Superior Court judge in Phoenix is considering a request to revive a lawsuit seeking to declare Arizona's campaign contribution limits unconstitutionally low.

The suit filed by Kathleen Winn was dismissed in October by Judge Sally Duncan but she's hearing a renewed bid by Winn on Friday afternoon.

Winn is an aide to Attorney General Tom Horne. She and Horne have been accused by the Yavapai County Attorney of illegally coordinating campaign spending in his 2010 election while she ran an independent committee. They deny those allegations.

Winn is seeking to sidetrack that case by having the contribution limits nullified.

The suit was dismissed because no case was pending and Winn hadn't exhausted other legal remedies. Winn is arguing the new Yavapai County allegations merit reviving her case.
