CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

A Chandler man has pleaded not guilty to a prostitution ring, disguised as an in-home massage parlor.

Court officials said Adam Munoz, 30, made his plea Monday afternoon on two counts of maintaining a house of prostitution, two counts of receiving earnings for prostitution and two counts of illegal control of an enterprise.

According to the police report, Chandler police were tipped off on Sept. 26 to a suspected illegal massage business providing acts of prostitution from an apartment at 2022 N. Nevada St.

An undercover cop went to the massage parlor that was leased to Munoz and discovered that massage therapists would give massages and then perform sex acts on the customers, charging from $100 to $200. The employees would then give $50 to Munoz.

Munoz was arrested by Chandler police and refused to answer any questions without an attorney.
