ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Four Darton State soccer players have been named to the NJCAA All-American teams.

Lady Cavaliers' forward Lyana Perez and defender Janay Campbell were two of 11 players named 1st Team All-Americans.

Campbell anchored a Lady Cavalier defense that only allowed 13 goals all season. She also made her presence felt on the offensive end, netting four goals and adding five assists.

From the men's team, forward Darwin Espinal becomes only the second freshman in Darton history to earn 1st Team honors. Midfielder Alejandro Garcia was named to the third team.

Espinal and Garcia were offensive machines for the Cavs, scoring a combined 40 goals in just 17 games.

Each had a knack for finding the net when it mattered most.

Four of Espinal's 23 goals were game-winners, while Garcia had six of his 17 decide the game.
