Good afternoon! We hope your day is going fantastically well and that you're enjoying the season with your families and friends.

Here are some stories we think you'll find interesting today:

1. According to the Tyler Police Department, emergency crews have located a naked mentally ill patient who escaped from East Texas Medical Center Tuesday afternoon. Police had to go through unusual measures to extract him from hiding.

2. Longhorns head coach Mack Brown and the University of Texas have denied reports that the head football coach is stepping down after 16 seasons.
Joe Jamail, Brown's longtime friend and attorney, told The Associated Press on Tuesday: "Mack Brown has not resigned." He says Brown's future with Texas is still up to the coach.

3. A six-year-old boy kissed a classmate and got suspended for sexual harassment. Now his mom is fighting to get the incident removed from his school record. "It was during class yeah," Hunter said. "We were doing reading group. And I leaned over and kissed her on the hand. That's what happened."

For that, six-year-old Hunter is at home instead of at school.

4. Prosecutors are considering whether to move forward with domestic violence charges against George Zimmerman even though his girlfriend is asking them not to do so.

5. Need a quick holiday teacher gift or hostess gift that is inexpensive to make? Try making a batch of Mama Steph's easy fruit and nut chocolate or white chocolate bark! Takes less than 5 minutes to make.

6. On Tuesday, 28-year-old Colt Morgan, who was wanted for a brutal murder in Harris County was arrested by Buffalo police. Morgan had eluded authorities for almost a month. According to Harris County homicide detectives, Morgan is charged with the murder of his girlfriend, 44-year-old Wende Marshall.

7. If you have kids, grandkids or students, you'll love this news: Longview's World of Wonders museum has revealed the new exhibits they plan to have in place next year! Looks amazing and will surely be a benefit to East Texas kids. Check it out here.
