Two Texas men have been arrested on multiple drug charges after they were pulled over by a Yavapai County deputy for driving at least 20 mph below the 65 mph speed limit.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said their deputy pulled over a beige 2007 Cadillac sedan with Oklahoma license plates on north Interstate 17 near the General Cook Trail off-ramp about 9:15 a.m. on Dec. 8.

Once pulled over, the men got out of the vehicle, walked back to the deputy in "an apparent attempt to disassociate themselves with the car," according to YCSO.

The deputy found a plastic bag on the floorboard of the passenger side that had seven pounds of methamphetamine and discovered a suitcase in the trunk with more than 65 pounds of marijuana.

The suspects, Oscar Baez-Esparza, 34, and his cousin, Alejandro Baez-Lopez, 22, were both booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center are being held without bond.

The Cadillac was seized.
