TUBAC, AZ (CBS5) -

One woman was arrested and nearly 30 pounds of methamphetamine were seized by federal agents Monday night.

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents working at the checkpoint on Interstate 19 said the meth was valued at more than $460,000.

Agents said they found 27 packages of the drug during the inspection of a vehicle driven by a female U.S. citizen.

A narcotics detection dog alerted the vehicle. Agents found the meth wrapped in clear packaging tape. It was located between the back seat and trunk of the vehicle.

The woman was taken into custody. The vehicle was seized.
