LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An overturned truck shut down Loop 287 at 59 north in Lufkin Tuesday night as crews worked to clean up a spill. The accident happened a little after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
DPS dispatchers said southbound lanes were closed and one northbound lane was open. Traffic was at a standstill as authorities work to clean up the scene.
A truck carrying equipment for an oil field company struck the rail road trestle and overturned. Anti-freeze is in the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
The lanes re-opened sometime overnight.
