MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Salt River Project has reported three separate power outages Wednesday morning.

About 1,000 customers in Mesa were without power starting at 5:30 a.m. as crews began working to repair or replace equipment Wednesday morning.

The SRP website said power would be out from Greenfield Road to Leisure World Boulevard and University Drive to Southern Avenue until 5:41 p.m.

A blown fuse in the electrical system caused the second outage for about 100 Glendale customers about 8 a.m. from 43rd to 51st avenues and Peoria to Dunlap avenues, and wasn't expected to be restored until about 10 a.m.

A third outage occurred at 8:10 a.m. in Mesa from 76th Street to Hawes Road and McDowell to McKellips Road and affected about 100 customers as crews performed maintenance. Power was expected back shortly after noon.
