NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Shipping companies are working around the clock to make sure those packages will be under the tree Christmas morning. It's the busiest time of the year for shipping and tracking packages, and this week has been full of drop offs for Jodie Stone, the owner of the UPS store in Nacogdoches.
Many are done shopping and now they're ready to ship the presents off.
Stone said the store will continue to be busy after Christmas because this weekend will be the last days many will be able to have their packages delivered in time for Wednesday.
"Starting today, most of the United States will get something if you overnight it," Stone said. "If it's sent as a ground delivery, depending on where it is, it may or may not be delivered by Christmas."
Stone said as a way to help the community out and those who have to work next week, the UPS store will be open for processing Sunday from one to four p.m. The store will also be open on Christmas eve.
