Fire destroys Angelina Co. home, kills family's dog

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

An early morning fire destroyed an Angelina County couple's two-story home Monday. The couple also lost their dog in the blaze.

The fire occurred at a residence in the 200 block of Earnest Landrum Rd., which is off of State Highway 103.

The fire was in the Moffetts district, according to Bobby Cranford, the president of the Angelina County Firefighters Association. The Fuller Springs, Rivercrest/Redland, Central, Ora, and Etoile volunteer fire departments responded to the fire.

In addition to their dog, the Angelina County couple lost everything in the fire.
