LPD officers serve drug warrant on man, find meth, K2, coke, Ecstasy, Xanax

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police officers arrested a 31-year-old man on a variety of felony drug-related charges Tuesday after they went to his residence on Kiln Ave. to serve an outstanding narcotics arrest warrant and allegedly found methamphetamine, K2, Ecstasy, cocaine, and Xanax.

Justin Ellis Dodd, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on three second-degree felony charges of possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams, a state-jail felony charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance less than one gram, and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility. No bail has been set at this time.

The LPD officers went to serve the warrant on Dodd at his residence in the 700 block of Kiln Ave. at approximately 2:02 p.m. Tuesday. They found Dodd inside the residence and allegedly found him to be in possession of 9.5 grams of meth, 13.9 grams of K2 (synthetic marijuana), 178 grams of Ecstasy, and one bar of Xanax.
