TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - When Trinity County Sheriff's deputies went to serve arrest warrants at a residence Wednesday, they wound up having to shoot a pit bull dog that attacked them. The dog was not killed in the incident.
Several people were arrested at the scene. Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace said the man they served the warrants was found to have approximately 5 grams of meth hidden on his person.
Wallace said the TCSO deputies went to the home to serve failure to pay child support and failure to report warrants on one of the occupants of the house. Everyone at the residence was taken into custody, Wallace said.
