Five fire departments respond to Nacogdoches Co. house, pasture fire

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
The cause of a Wednesday afternoon house and pasture fire, which triggered a response by five Nacogdoches County fire crews, is still unknown.

Just before 4 p.m., firefighters were called to a house on County Road 852 near Flower Mountain in the Looneyville community.

Upon arrival, the wood frame home was fully-engulfed by flames, according to first responders. The blaze also spread to an adjacent pasture.

No injuries were reported by Lilbert-Looneyville, Cushing, Loco Valley, Central Heights and Nacogdoches fire departments.
The home was a total loss.
