Rollover Accident May Have Been Caused By Alcohol

An accident Sunday evening sent one man to the hospital after his SUV rolled over several times.

Department of Public Safety Officials on scene say 52-year-old Francisco Arreola of Lufkin was driving just south of the Angelina County Airport on Hwy 59 when he went off the road and into the grassy median. Officials say he overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll.

Arreola was taken to Lufkin's Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. His passenger was not injured.

Officers say alcohol may have played a role in the accident, but they won't know for sure until the investigation is complete.
