CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) -

The Crockett Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding two suspects in the armed robbery of the Crockett EZ Stop. The convenience store is located in the 500 block of West Goliad Avenue.

According to a press release, the robbery occurred Wednesday at about 9:18 p.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that two suspects, possibly black males, brandished handguns when they demanded money from the female cashier.

The suspects' faces were covered, except for the immediate areas around their eyes, the press release stated. During the robbery, they stole about $400 from the store's cash register. After they left the store, they fled the area on foot and headed toward Durette Drive and Sallas Street

The press release stated that the two men threatened to kill the cashier before they fled.
