LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested two on felony manufacture and delivery charges following a traffic stop that allegedly resulted in the in the seizure of about 13.9 grams of methamphetamine early Saturday morning.
Bobby Rodenbough, 28, of Houston, and David Dewayne Gouge, 34, of Lufkin, were both charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, which is a first-degree felony. Collectivetly, Rodenbough's bail was set at $10,000. Gouge's bail was set at $10,500 because he was also charged with driving with no driver's license, a misdemeanor.
According to Angelina County Sheriff Greg Sanches, ACSO deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of FM 2021 and U.S. Highway 59 at approximately 1:45 a.m. Saturday. After they got permission to search the vehicle, they allegedly found a black scale located in the center console with an off-white crystal substance. Plastic bags containing the same off-white crystal substance were also found in the center console.
Rodenbough and Gouge were arrested at the scene and transported to the Angelina County Jail.
