HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

Police are investigating a robbery at a credit union on Nine Mile Road.

It happened just before 10 a.m. at the Credit Union Service Center in the 5000 block of Nine Mile Road.

The suspect approached a teller and demanded money, claiming he had a weapon - no weapon was actually displayed during the crime. He left after taking an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 35 years old, between 5'7" to 5'9" tall, weighing about 130 to 145 pounds. He was wearing black shoes, blue jeans, a red and gray sweatshirt with a hood, and had his face covered.

No one was injured during the crime. Police have released pictures of the suspect taken from surveillance video.
