LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin defensive tackle D.J. Williams has committed to take his talents to Kansas.
The Panther has been labeled as one of the top defensive tackles in Texas.
Coming in at 6-foot-4, 293-pounds, Williams visited Coach Charlie Weis in October. Williams was set to visit Missouri this weekend, but decided to go ahead and commit to Kansas.
Williams also had offers from Houston, Miami, North Texas and Oklahoma.
He will be following Jacob Bragg from Nacogoches to represent East Texas with the Jayhawks.
