Hall of Famer and former Texas Rangers CEO Nolan Ryan has some decisions to make before spring training, now that he met with the Houston Astros Tuesday.
The 66-year-old was at Minute Maid Park, where he met with owner Jim Crane and general manager Jeff Luhnow.
Ryan described the position as a consultant job, that would likely help out on the developmental side and with the big league club.
He left the rangers this past October, and said it wasn't a retirement move. Ryan describes the time he took off more as a move to figure out his next step.
