CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) - Officers with the Crockett Police Department arrested two men Friday in connection to a home burglary that occurred on Homewood Drive.
As a result of a three-day investigation by the Crockett Police Department, authorities recovered stolen firearms and approximately $2,779 in cash, and over a pound of marijuana.
On Friday, Crockett Police officers arrested Burvin V. Wooten Jr., 55, in the 700 block of Woolley Drive. He was charged with three counts of theft of a firearm and one count of possession of marijuana. Both charges are state-jail felonies.
They also served three theft of firearm warrants on Jarvas Handsborough, 25, of Crockett, at the Houston County Jail. Handsborough was already in jail on charges stemming from a traffic stop on South Fourth Street on Feb. 5.
