PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Arizona Humane Society employees arrived at their Sunnyslope facility on Wednesday to find it vandalized and a donation box stolen.

Since Wednesday's break-in, they've received an outpouring of donations from the community.

AHS spokeswoman Ashliegh Goebel said they've received enough support to repair the damages and replenish the missing funds.

The thieves broke into the facility between midnight and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Goebel said.

The front-door glass was shattered and the thieves made off with between $150 and $200 in cash, Goebel said.

AHS said police are still looking for the suspect or suspects responsible.

No animals were hurt.

Anyone interested in donating is asked to visit the Arizona Humane Society or call 602-997-7586.
