Updated:

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - After meeting for six months, an Orleans Parish grand jury has decided to take no action against Merritt Landry, according to the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office.

The Marigny homeowner shot 14 year-old Marshall Coulter last Summer after Coulter jumped the fence onto Landry's property. Landry was booked with attempted second degree murder for shooting Coulter in the head, but never formally charged.

Police say Marshall Coulter was unarmed at the time of the shooting.
