The Stephen F. Austin men's basketball team have now clinched the Southland Conference championship, after a 103-63 win Thursday night over New Orleans in Lakefron Arena.
SFA came into the game with a three game lead over San Houston State, and with a win for the Lumberjacks over UNO and a 80-71 loss for the Bearkats over UCA, SFA took the conference championship.
First-year head coach Brad Underwood, has lead the Jacks to a perfect record in conference thus far, and with the win tonight, SFA has the nation's longest road-win streak with 11 wins.
Sophomore Thomas Walker recorded a career-high of 28 points on the night.
The Lumberjacks will close their road swing for the weekend Saturday, when the play Southeastern Louisiana.
